Herb Walk and Workshop with Brigitte Mars

Do you want to be your own doctor, heal your family, learn the wild edible and medicinal plants and be more deeply connected to nature? Come join this opportunity to dive into sacred land and the forest and learn the wisdom of the plants and natural remedies.

Where: The Sacred Sanctuary Foothills of Boulder- 12 minutes from Canyon and Broadway.

What: Herb Walk and Workshop

Come join master herbalist, author, and natural chef Brigitte Mars at The Sacred Sanctuary for an herb walk along our sacred river and mountain. During our walk Brigitte will lead us in identifying the wild and edible plants of our local ecosystem and teach us thier basic uses and for food and medicine.

Following the land walk, Brigitte will lead a wisdom filled workshop called Immune Health with Natural Remedies. This insightful workshop will be held in our yurt temple space and teach you how to use food, herbs, supplements, essential oils and lifestyle techniques to deal with colds and flus as well as disorders like cancer, diabetes, fibromyalgia and more.

Cost for Attendance

***Adult pricing $33/$44/$55 or $66 (walk and workshop included with each tikcet. Please choose your pricing tier at the time of registration)

*** Teens (13 to 17 years of age) $22

***Children (3 to 12 years of age) $11

***Children under 3- Free

Children are welcome to attend and encouraged to participate in the land walk. You may not leave your children unattended on the land. If your child is too young to sit through the workshop, please arrange to have an extra parent or guardian meet you after the herbwalk to either be with your child on the land or to pick your child up. There is abundant space on the land to play and connect deeper with nature. Families may also work together to pool guardianship for the workshop portion of the event. No more than 4 children per adult superviser.

What to Bring: 

-Sunscreen or sun hat

-Notebook and Pen for workshop

-Reusable Water Bottle

-Snack if needed

-Towel (if you desire a quick dip in the river after the workshop)

-Please DO NOT bring any sort of DEET or toxic bug spray. Please use essential oils instead. We deeply care for our bees and pollinators! There are not many bugs here at this time of year!
